In July 2010, divers found the world's oldest champagne in a shipwreck in Åland. The constant darkness and the even temperature at the bottom of the sea had preserved the bottles in excellent condition. Next to Silverskär Islands, the storage conditions for the champagne are the same as for the wreck champagne. Since 2011 we have stored champagne at the bottom of the sea in collaboration with Veuve Clicquot champagne house that has chosen to test the Åland waters as a cellar in the sea!
