Christmas buffet with genuine spirit

The Silverskär Christmas buffet is served during a few weeks, from late November and in to December – provided that the water around the island doesn’t freeze over.

Our buffet is much more than just the food itself – it’s an experience in its own right, including a boat ride in a wondrous winter archipelago and a visit to an old archipelago farmstead. Before you dig into the buffet, we treat you to mulled wine and gingersnaps at Mellangårds.

The buffet consists of a wide variety of traditional fish pickles as well as a choice assortment of Christmas dishes from Åland and Finland. The ambience is cosy, relaxed and familial – no need to bring a tie!
