Go for a ride!
The island of Kråkskär lies in the outermost part of the archipelago, just where the sea opens up its vast blue expanses. In days gone past the island was one of many fishing camps in the archipelago, with small cabins for the fishermen to lodge in during the most intense periods of fishing.
We offer daytrips from Silverskär to Kråkskär, where you can experience both barren archipelago vistas and interesting cultural history. There are several other daytrip destinations around Silverskär. One of them is Boxö, with its vestiges from World War One, when Åland and Finland were part of the Russian Empire. Here we can land at the so called “Russian jetty” and walk up to the remnants of the old coastal battery.
We have seaworthy and comfortable boats and will of course bring picnic hampers with your choice of content. Welcome to experience more of the Åland archipelago!
