Meetings & Conferences

Here at Silverskär islands your meeting or conference will be something out of the ordinary. The island of your choice will become your private island during your stay. In the middle of beautiful nature, with the sea as your closest neighbor and surrounded by the red granit rocks of Åland!

On our secluded islands you will have complete privacy, with no one distracting you except maybe a sea eagle hovering over you. Here you can manage do get the important things said, at the same time as you are recharging your batteries for new challenges! All our conference rooms have their own special touch and are provided with fibre network or wifi and modern equipment for hybrid meetings. In our largest conference room in Ladugårds we can fit up to 100 people for a day conference, and up to 55 people can stay over the night.

After the work meetings, we offer activities as kayaking, paddle boards, the thowing game Kubb or why not take a swim in the sea? The sauna at our beach is always warm and the jacuzzi on the wooden deck is ready for you!

Klobben is suitable for smaller groups, 10-20 people can comfortably stay here for a meeting. If you choose to stay at Klobben, the heated sauna will be waiting for you after your meeting. The sauna is built into a crevice in the cliff and is adjusted to the form of the rock. There is no way you can get closer to nature than this!

Ladugårds

Ladugårds is our largest facility for conferences, parties and festivities and it houses up to a hundred guests. The house was built as a traditional Ålandic barn house and it blends well into the island's settings.The building materials are genuine and the beams are hand hewn. All the details have been carefully chosen.

All necessary technical equipment for present-day conferences needs are available. Fiber network connection, professional sound systems and modern equipment for hybrid meetings.

Facilities for meetings and parties are on the upper floor. The ground floor houses eight four-star rooms with en suite bathrooms and a pleasant lobby.

Norrgårds

Norrgårds is the second largest building on the main island of Silverskär and accomodates up to 40 people in the combined conference and dining room. The house was built in the 1990's with traditional techniques with hand hewn beams and handmade wooden roof tiles. There is a warm and cosy atmosphere and when the weather is chilly a fire with be lit in the open fire place.

Saltarboden

Saltarboden is the main meeting house at Klobben, a neighbouring island to Silverskär. Here the team of Silverskär has recreated an old fishing camp in 19th century style. Whether you decide to hold your meeting indoors or outside on the deck, you will sit right by the seaside, in the middle of the archipelago. Even though the most part of Klobben is an electricity free zone, you have both electricity and wifi in Saltarboden so you can stay connected duting your meetings.

You can organize a meeting during the daytime here or decide to stay over night. Up to 32 people can stay over in the rustic cabins on the cliffs. Lunch and dinner are prepared by our chefs at Silverskär and delivered to Klobben, sometimes they decide to prepare the meals over open fire at Klobben.
